PO 101 - New Orders of Protection in Indiana 60 minutes
This training will summarize the dramatic changes that occurred in Indiana's Protective Order law that took effect in 2002. Topics include why the law changed, who can file for a PO, where to file, when a hearing is required, and other details relating to applying for and enforcing protective orders. Topics also include an update of changes in the PO law since its initial enactment.
WV 102 - Workplace Violence 20-120 minutes
This training is designed as an introduction to domestic violence issues and its impact on the workplace. This training is designed for executives, supervisors, managers, EAP and human resource professionals who are considering updating their policies and instituting domestic violence training for their workforce. Topics include: signs that an employee may be a victim; how an abuser may by using your resources to perpetuate abuse against a partner; and the business costs to employers in terms of lost productivity and medical costs. Training also touches on laws requiring a safe workplace, legal liability for failing to address a known danger, and what steps employers can take to protect employees. DIV 103 - Indiana Divorce and Custody Laws for Non-Lawyers 60-180 minutes
This training summarizes Indiana divorce and custody laws related to divorce and paternity cases. Discusses the relevant statutes, what factors a judge can use in making custody decisions, and the legal differences between sole and joint custody. Training also discusses the new 2006 relocation law and what law enforcement
can do when called to a custody dispute where there is no paternity established.
