DVAM Community Art Project
Turning Point is excited to be partnering with the Columbus Area Arts Council for a community art project in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month (DVAM)! The project will consist of buttons made by community members, and it will be displayed in the 411 Gallery's Community Studio for the month of October.
The goal of this collaboration is to amplify the voices of survivors and to work toward preventing domestic violence through art. This project was inspired by the piece, 33, Three Four Two, that was created as a collaboration between The Julian Center and the Indianapolis Art Center.
