Holiday gift program

Turning Point needs your help to make this a happy holiday for 50 families touched by domestic violence in our residential and non-residential programs.  The number of families in need this holiday has doubled over last year. Holidays are a difficult time for those families whose lives have changed due to domestic violence, especially for the children.

This year for the holidays, we have put together a list of wishes to be used to create a holiday store, giving our clients the chance to “shop” for gifts in the spirit of the holiday season.

How you can help? Help us stock our store from our Wish List. Turning Point is asking members of our communities to help by purchasing gifts from the list and delivering them to our Administrative office in the Doug Otto United Way Center, 1531 13th St, Columbus, IN, unwrapped, by December 15. Our families will then have the chance to “shop” for these gifts at our holiday store and share in the joy of wrapping them.  Gift cards are also much appreciated. They allow us to purchase specialty items or to accommodate last minute families in need.

Your generosity will bring smiles to the faces of both children and parents this holiday season, creating a brighter look at the future and the joy of starting a new year violence-free.
